How do you find contentment?

I believe God created each and every one of us to do something meaningful during our lifetime.

In the book of Genesis, God says, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” If we are created in His own image and likeness then we must be very special; to be able to act big and dream big.

They say to be content, you must simplify your way of living. But how can you be simple when you have big dreams?

For me, simple living doesn’t mean you have to deny yourself of the good things in life.

A person who have big dreams find contentment when they avoid sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like – these are the things that doesn’t make you content.

Because being content is not about being simple or being rich. It’s all about how you live your life, a life of love. To celebrate the achievements of others, to be honest and true to your words, to smile a lot, to laugh a lot, and to share your blessings.

Your purpose in life is unique and it cannot be compared to others. You don’t have to compare yourselves with anybody for whatever they have or whatever achievements they have done. Be you and you will find true contentment – and everything that you dreamed for will come true.

God is the greatest!

Ambitiously pursue your purpose!

Do you believe when God created us, part of His purpose is for us to live an abundant life? To have a future of hope?

God tells us that He has a plan for us and it is good. He cares for us. Even the Psalmist wonders – “What is man that you are mindful of him?” (Psalms 8:5).

We just need to ask in prayer and He will listen to us and change everything for us!

So, how do we know what are His plans are?

Each one of us are given talents. This includes people with born disabilities. All of us have these gifts. It is up to us to seek for it, recognize it and pursue it.

Yes, we should ambitiously pursue our purpose!

Everything happens for a reason.

You were made by God and for God, and until you understand that, life will never make sense. – Rick Warren

Hey, did you miss me? I’m back after 4 years of sleep… YES!

Maybe your drinking a cup of coffee and you got into this page and you ask yourself…

Why am I reading this blog?

Where do I came from?

Where am I going?

Why did the chicken lay an egg?

I don’t know where the chicken and the egg came from, but I will tell you what this blog is not. It is not usual serious stuff with science and the use of highfalutin words. I’m going to write fun blogs and maybe add some stories.

I’m an ordinary, college undergraduate with simple words and ideas to share. I keep things real.

I don’t believe that it’s coincidence you are reading this blog. Everything happens for a reason and there is always purpose to it, just like our lives… do you agree?
